Wedding Studio is operated by Studio Pluto, LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States. Our mailing address is 217 6th Ave N STE 43138, Nashville, TN 37219, United States. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Studio Pluto, LLC.

By accessing or using Wedding Studio, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please refrain from using our platform.

1. Overview of Services

Wedding Studio provides a platform for users to collect, store, organize, and share photos and videos from weddings. The service includes free and paid tiers, which are subject to the terms outlined below.

2. User Accounts

  • Account Registration: To access our services, users must create an account and provide accurate and complete information, including their name and email address.
  • Account Management: Account owners (referred to as "hosts") and any invited co-hosts can edit, manage, and delete uploaded content according to the access level granted on the account.
  • Album Access: Guests can upload and you can access and download all album content until 24 months after the wedding date set for the album. If you haven't set a wedding date yet, we use a placeholder date two years after the album is created until you set one. Download your content before the period ends to keep your own copy. We may delete hosted album content after that period.

3. Content Ownership and Usage

  • User-Generated Content: All photos, videos, and other uploaded content remain the sole property of the account owner. Authorized co-hosts may manage that content on the owner's behalf. By uploading content, you grant Wedding Studio the limited rights needed to host, display, organize, process, categorize, de-duplicate, export, print, deliver, and secure that content as part of the agreed services.
  • Automated Media Processing: Wedding Studio may use automated systems to process uploaded photos and videos for service features such as photo categorization, duplicate-photo detection, album organization, upload quality checks, and abuse prevention.
  • Prohibited Content: Users may not upload any illegal, harmful, or offensive content, including but not limited to child pornography or spam. Wedding Studio reserves the right to remove such content and terminate accounts at its sole discretion.

4. Service Plans and Payments

  • Service Tiers:
    • Free plan: Up to 10 guests.
    • Starter plan: Up to 25 guests.
    • Pro plan: Up to 100 guests.
    • Unlimited plan: Unlimited guests.
    • Occasional discounts may be offered.
    • Wedding Studio reserves the right to change pricing in the future, however changes in pricing will only impact new customers.
  • Payments: Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Refund Policy: Except as set out in Section 5 (Wedding Registry), if you are unhappy with our service at any point, you may request a refund by emailing info@wedding.studio. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

5. Wedding Registry

  • 5.1 The Registry. The Wedding Registry ("Registry") lets you publish a page where your guests can give personal cash gifts toward your plans. Gifts are personal gifts. No goods or services are sold or provided in exchange for a gift, and a gift toward a named idea (for example, "Dinner on the terrace") does not create a booking or require you to use the money for that purpose.
  • 5.2 Activation fee. Publishing a Registry requires a one-time activation fee, shown before you pay (the "Activation Fee"). A Registry is activated for one wedding, is not transferable to another wedding, and remains active until 12 months after the wedding date saved for that wedding. If no date is saved, the Registry remains active until you add one, after which the same 12-month period applies.
  • 5.3 Card gifts and Stripe. Card gifts are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates ("Stripe"). To receive card gifts, one adult individual (the "Recipient") must open a Stripe connected account and accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which incorporates the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the "Stripe Terms"). The Recipient authorises Wedding Studio to share information about the Recipient and their gifts with Stripe and to direct Stripe on their behalf as described in this Section. Wedding Studio is not a bank, money transmitter or escrow agent and does not hold gift funds. Funds are settled by Stripe to the Recipient's connected account and paid out on Stripe's schedule. Stripe may verify identity, delay, hold or restrict payments or payouts, or reverse payments, under the Stripe Terms.
  • 5.4 Service Fee. Each card gift carries a service fee equal to 4.5% of the gift amount, which includes card processing (the "Service Fee"). You choose whether the guest pays the Service Fee, you pay it, or it is split equally. If split, any odd cent is paid by you. The guest sees the total before paying. A change to your choice applies to gifts started after you save it. We may change the Service Fee for future gifts with at least 30 days' notice.
  • 5.5 Other ways to give. If you add payment-app, bank or other payment details, guests pay you directly. Wedding Studio does not process, verify, hold or guarantee those payments, charges no fee for them, and is not responsible for incorrect details you provide or for fees charged by those providers. Gifts recorded by guests are their own reports and are not verified by us.
  • 5.6 Activation Fee refunds. You may request a refund of the Activation Fee by emailing info@wedding.studio at any time before your Registry receives its first Guest Gift. A "Guest Gift" means (a) a card gift successfully charged through your Registry, whether or not it is later refunded or disputed, or (b) a payment a guest reports through your Registry. Once your Registry has received a Guest Gift, the Activation Fee is non-refundable, including if you later unpublish, delete or stop using the Registry, return a gift, or the Registry period ends. If you bought the Registry as part of a bundle, the portion of the price allocated to the Registry is non-refundable after the first Guest Gift, and the rest of the bundle remains subject to the refund terms for those products.
  • 5.7 Service Fees are non-refundable. The Service Fee is earned when a card gift is processed and is not refundable, including when a gift is returned in whole or in part, disputed, or reversed.
  • 5.8 Returning a gift. Only the Recipient may return a card gift, through Wedding Studio, while Stripe allows it. A returned gift refunds the gift amount (or the part being returned) to the guest's card. The Service Fee is not returned. Returns are funded from the Recipient's Stripe balance and, if that balance is insufficient, as provided in the Stripe Terms. We may return a gift ourselves where required by law, card-network rules or Stripe, or to address suspected fraud or error.
  • 5.9 Disputes. A guest's card issuer may reverse a card gift through a dispute ("chargeback"). The disputed amount, and any dispute fee charged under the Stripe Terms, is deducted from the Recipient's balance. The Service Fee is not returned. You are responsible for responding by the deadline shown.
  • 5.10 Acceptable use. You may use the Registry only to receive genuine personal gifts for your own wedding. You may not use it to sell goods or services, raise funds for a business, charity or third party, or for any unlawful purpose. We may pause card gifts, unpublish or close a Registry, or share information with Stripe or authorities where we reasonably suspect misuse. If we close a Registry because of a breach of these Terms, the Activation Fee is not refunded. If we discontinue the Registry for any other reason before your first Guest Gift, we will refund the Activation Fee.
  • 5.11 Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations that apply to gifts you receive. Stripe may issue tax forms where required by law.
  • 5.12 Your statutory rights. Nothing in this Section limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are in the UK or EU, you ask us to make your Registry available immediately on payment and acknowledge that, once it is fully provided, you lose your statutory right to cancel.

6. Use of the Platform

  • Users agree to use Wedding Studio in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
  • Any misuse, including uploading prohibited content or engaging in illegal activities, may result in the immediate suspension or termination of the user's account and the deletion of their content.

7. Liabilities and Disclaimers

  • Service Interruptions: Wedding Studio is not liable for any service interruptions, loss of data, or issues arising from third-party services, including storage, authentication, email, payment, hosting, print fulfillment, and media-processing providers.
  • User Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of the content they upload. Wedding Studio will terminate accounts and delete content deemed to violate these Terms.

8. Termination of Service

  • Termination by Wedding Studio: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for any reason at our discretion.
  • Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all user data and uploaded content will be permanently deleted.

9. Third-Party Services

Wedding Studio uses best-in-class third-party providers, including providers for storage, hosting, authentication, email notifications, payments, print fulfillment, analytics, and media processing. While we strive for seamless integration, we are not liable for issues caused by these services. Card gifts on the Wedding Registry are processed by Stripe, Inc. under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

10. Privacy and Cookie Policies

By using Wedding Studio, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable United States federal law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

12. Changes to the Terms

Wedding Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on our platform. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
